What our Clients Say

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this masterclass suitable for?

This masterclass is designed for separated parents who want to support their child's emotional wellbeing as they adjust to life in two homes. It's suitable for parents of children of all ages—from younger kids to tweens and teens, and you don’t need your co-parent to attend.

Do I need my co-parent's involvement for this to be effective?

No, your co-parent doesn't need to be involved or even necessarily aware of your participation. The strategies you'll learn empower you to support your child independently, without needing cooperation from your co-parent (it’s awesome, though, if they’d like to come along too).

How is this different from other parenting resilience programs?

Unlike general parenting programs, this masterclass is specifically tailored for separated families. As a Co-Parenting Coach with 20 years of experience in child development within separated families, I address the unique challenges of raising kids across two homes.

Will this masterclass help if my co-parent and I generally get along?

Absolutely! Even in amicable situations, heling kids adjust to two-home living can be challenging. This masterclass provides tools to strengthen your child's resilience and confidence, helping them thrive in their new family structure.

What if my child is very young? Will the strategies still apply?

Yes, the techniques we'll cover are suitable for children of all ages. You'll learn how to adapt strategies to your child's developmental stage, whether they're young children, tweens, or teens.

How can I be sure this will work for my family?

While every family is unique, the strategies taught in this masterclass are based on proven methods drawn from research in the fields of developmental psychology, positive psychology, evolutionary psychology and contextual behavioural science. As your facilitator, I have two decades of experience working with separated families and applying this model. Many parents have found success in using these techniques to support their children's well-being.

How interactive is the session? Can I ask questions about my specific situation?

The masterclass is highly interactive. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance tailored to your situation. I encourage participation to make the experience as valuable as possible for you.

I'm worried about myself or my co-parent saying the wrong thing and harming my child's relationship with one or both of us. Will this help?

Yes, I'll teach you how to support your child without disparaging or interfering with their relationship with the other parent, and what to do if you’re concerned about what your co-parent does in their home. You'll learn how to help your child draw their own conclusions based on their experiences, fostering independent thinking and emotional strength.

What is the DNA-V model, and why is it effective for separated families?

The DNA-V model is a practical framework that helps children develop resilience and psychological flexibility. It teaches them to:

  • Discoverer (D): Explore and learn from new experiences.
  • Noticer (N): Be aware of their thoughts and feelings.
  • Advisor (A): Recognise and manage unhelpful self-talk.
  • Values (V): Act according to their own values.

This model is particularly effective for separated families because it empowers children to make sense of their experiences and decide their actions independently. It reduces your worry about negative influences without involving you in conflict.

Do I need any prior knowledge or preparation before attending?

No prior knowledge is required. Just come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. I'll provide all the information and resources you need during the session.

Will there be a recording?

The interactive nature of the live session is highly valuable. However, if you can't attend, a recording will be available for 30 days.

What is the refund policy?

We generally do not provide refunds, though we may consider requests on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Accepting our full terms and conditions is a condition of purchase.
